May 26 Criterium

Hi Mike,

Could you put the following information on the blog for next week's crit.?

May 26 Criterium will be held at the Burnt Lake Industrial Park located about 1 KM west of Q.E. II on Highway 11. Go straight north of the Burnt Lake Store/Gas Bar about 600 m. All races will go at 6:30 PM with Cat. 1 going for 1 hour plus 3 laps and all other groups going 30 minutes plus 3 laps. Usual criterium rules apply. If you have a broom, please show up early to help sweep corners, etc. to help make the race safer for you. This will be an open course, so please be aware of vehicles possibly entering the course. Safety first!
Also, I need someone to be timer, horn blower and bell ringer for the race. If you know of someone who can help, please let me know.

Thanks,Ted

  2. Hi Michelle,
Our 'breakfast club' rides on Saturday and Sunday mornings are at a friendly social pace. Some might jam up the hills - but we all regroup and ride together. You are welcome to join the ride, however, you should have a signed application form present - for insurance coverage. If you like the club activities then just pay and join the club officially. The application form is linked on the right of the page.

  3. Hello this is Dave Jaeger for Grande Prairie.

I did the May 26 Critium, and removed my saddle bag for the race and left it beside the road near the finish line, but after therace I forgot to pick it up and when I went back the next day it was gone. I will be down again this week (July 6-10) doing emission testing at the Joffre plant and I will be showing for the Tuesday night race rain or shine, so could the person that has my saddle bag could please bring it with them; also I will probably show up for Sunday's ride on the way back to Grande Prairie from Calgary.

    Thank you,
    Dave
