Mountain Biking Red Deer!

Tonight we had a great mountain bike ride with Wipeout Ski and Bike.  We were joined by "Adventure Cyclist" Ryan Correy who rode his Giant 29'r all packed up with gear for the Tour Divide.

We broke into two groups since we had a wide range of ages and abilities.  The monday night rides have been so popular, we are expanding and co-hosting another weekly mtb ride on thursday nights.  Same time same place: Wipeout 6pm.  Riders meet in the back (rear entrance).

Our leaders of the ride told us that tonights ride (that can be found in detail here: will be more like what to expect on the new thursday night rides.  There will be a little less stopping and starting once everyone is familiar with the terrain etc.  Vince was excellent about making sure everyone was together and that nobody was left behind.  Before technical sections, Vince would also explain was what expected and made sure you were comfortable.  So either way, get yourself out to the awesome MTB rides MONDAY and THURSDAYS and support the local cycling community!

Thanks again everyone.  Welcome to all the new riders and good luck to Ryan on his next adventure!
