bike lane group ride.

Greetings!

Everyone is invited to the 4th Annual Red Deer Association for Bicycle Commuting (RDABC) Bicycle Parade!
Join us for a leisurely ride to celebrate the many positive aspects of bicycle culture and commuting!
All are welcome - in past years, we have literally had riders aged 8 to 80, beginners and old pros alike!
We only ask that all participants wear a helmet!
RDABC lifetime memberships will be available before and after the parade for $5 - the voice of hundreds of bicycle owners advocating for improved safety on our streets!

When:  Saturday September 15, 10am start.  Arrive early, as beginning at 9am we will be holding mini-rides to demonstrate correct usage of bicycle lanes!

Where:  St. Thomas Aquinas Middle School east parking lot (39 Street & Mitchell Avenue)

Route:  We are pleased that our route this year will entirely follow the new bike lanes!
39 Street west to 40 Avenue, north to 55 Street, south on 48 Avenue, finish at Red Deer Market.

The Primary Care Network (PCN) will once again be providing snacks and refreshments to all participants upon arrival at the Market!
Thanks also to our event sponsor, Wipe-Out Ski & Bike!
