This is an official call for nominations for the CABC Executive for the 2017 Season. The CABC Executive positions that we are seeking candidates for are: Secretary, Clothing director, Mountain Bike Director, Road Director, Treasurer, Membership Director, and Youth Coordinator. 
If you are interested or would like to nominate yourself or someone else for one of these positions we would like to hear from you before the Annual General Meeting. Nominations can be sent to Ken Kahanyshyn by email at: Elections for positions will be held at the AGM on Tuesday, February 7th at the Clearview Community Centre starting at 6:00 pm. 
As many of you will know, I have held the position of President for the past two years. It has been a pleasure to serve in the role of President of the CABC. Thank you all for the opportunity to support the growth and development of the CABC and the sport of cycling in our community. As it was decided at the previous AGM I will be stepping down from my role as President this year as per the Vice President —> President —> Past President rotation. Therefore, in 2017 Peter Lawson will carry on as Vice President, Ken Kahanyshyn will move into the role of President and I will act in an advisory role as Past President. 
As our new CABC President, Ken brings several years of experience as an avid cyclist as well as a member of the CABC Executive in both V.P. and Clothing Director roles. With Ken’s thoughtful leadership I am confident that we will continue to see further growth of the club in the 2017 season. Please join me in welcoming Ken into his new role.
